Is that Irish?
The green folks at Guinness have a petition online asking people to help make March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day) an official holiday. I’m not Irish, nor am I a huge fan of Guinness (I prefer my beer without the motor oil) … but I am a fan of St. Patrick’s Day.
In particular, I love McDonald’s Shamrock Shakes. I am one of many out there who insist it tastes different than a normal vanilla shake, and that it’s NOT just food coloring. I think it’s minty. (There is actually debate on this out there, and the commercial below supports my minty claim).
Unfortunately, I haven’t had one in quite some time, and despite rumors that McDonald’s has brought it back this year, I have yet to find it. If you have any idea where I can get a Shamrock Shake (in addition to Slurm and Chocolate Cherry Diet Dr Pepper), let me know, lass.
I’ve gone way off course here. Back to the petition.
Go to www.proposition317.com to sign the petition to make the holiday O’fficial.

It is an official holiday for me – it is my birthday. Okay not so fun and cool now that I am old; but man in the college days – wow what a great bday to have. I drank free everywhere that night.
