My 200th post

I started this here weblog back in June with the following headline: “The Foist“

Since then, I’ve posted about five times a week, sometimes every day in a week, on topics ranging from the U.S. Women’s Open to movies to Sanford politics and even The Three Stooges. Since I started this, several Herald staffers have spawned their own blogs, and even people in the community are getting involved.

I want to thank people who read this regularly and offer their opinions as well (comments on here have well exceeded my total number of posts). I also want to thank the people of Sanford for making my first year here (I moved here on Feb. 12) a fun and memorable one.
