Will we get some snow?
January 2, 2008
Well, WRAL says “flurries” could be heading our way today, but as of 10:45 a.m., it’s sunny outside (cold as I’ve ever felt it in Sanford, though).
Here’s hoping, though I’d like to go on the record to say when I asked for snow, I meant I wanted at least 3-6 inches. Not just flurries.
SIDE NOTE: If we don’t get snow, I at least hope you enjoyed it on my blog.
UPDATE: At 12:30 p.m., it did in fact “flurry” in downtown Sanford. My wife and I got a big kick out of it, being that we’ve spent the past five years in Louisiana and Houston.

Yep, Denise called me at work to say how excited the kids were to see some flurries.
It’s too bad that she reported that they weren’t “sticking” though. I know the kids would have been thrilled to have a snowball fight or build a real snow man next to our lighted one!
But alas, I don’t think we’ll be quite that lucky today.
