Undy to run for commissioner seat

SANFORD — Carolina Trace resident and former Marine Harry Undy Sr. has added his name to the list of suitors for the Lee County Board of Commissioners’ District 2 Representative.

Undy threw his name in the hat for the seat, which was vacated by Kirk Smith earlier this month, by filing an application with the Board of Commissioners on Dec. 18. Lee County Board of Education member John Quiggle has also filed an application for the seat.

I married my college sweetheart Jennifer in 2003, and today, we're the proud parents of a little girl, Hayley Alexandra (born Oct. 3, 2009) plus an 8-year-old Jack Russell Terrier and year-old Labernese.
